Exhibition Sales Executives

Reports to: Portfolio Director
Job location: Kingston Upon Thames, KT1 1RR
Hours: 9.00 am - 5.00 pm, Mon - Thurs and Friday 9am - 1pm plus extra hours as and when necessary
Holiday: 30 days
Salary: £25 - 35k basic dependent on experience, Comms + bonus - £10 - 20k subject to performance.

  • Event Production Show (www.eventproductionshow.co.uk)
  • International Confex (www.international-confex.com)

Reporting to the relevant Event Director, you will be part of a highly motivated team responsible for sales revenue for the event. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to produce strong results whilst developing a passion for this exciting industry.

The ideal candidate will already be an established exhibition sales professional who understands sales process. However, if you’re just starting out and possess the right attitude to succeed, then we do have an extensive training programme to teach you everything you need.

This is a fantastic opportunity for sales professionals who have consistently demonstrated maximising revenues through space & sponsorship sales during their career.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to generate new business - actively seeking out new sales opportunities through established accounts, networking, and social media to ensure all space at the event is sold
  • To achieve individual and team targets
  • To maximise stand revenue whilst ensuring the quality of exhibitors.
  • To target and develop new product sectors of the event.
  • To administer the client database.
  • To work on site during the event to ensure all exhibitor queries are dealt with effectively and efficiently and sales opportunities are maximised.

Skills:

  • Prior sales experience preferred
  • Ability to use all Microsoft platforms
  • Hunger for sales and the desire to succeed
  • High level of customer focus and support
  • Graduate preferably with some sales experience
  • Excellent telephone and face to face sales skills
  • Creativity and initiative in a sales environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Proven history of building and managing customer relations
  • Diplomatic and tactful
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Efficient with good communication skills
  • Engaging with a positive and creative outlook on life
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Confident and eager to learn
  • Self-motivated and resilient
