Mash Media started life in 1994 with the first edition of Who’s Who in Exhibitions? (now called the Exhibition Handbook) which now has the highest circulation of any publication within the exhibition industry.
Exhibition News was published in 1997 and what followed over the next few years was a story of expansion that took Mash Media Group Ltd into the position of leading publisher of magazines and directories to the exhibition, conference and events industry.
With a portfolio that now included widely read and respected titles such as Exhibition Handbook, Exhibition News, Exhibiting, Conference News and Conference Handbook, Mash Media offered an unrivalled presence in this dynamic and fast developing market.
In June 2003, Mash Media purchased the Exhibition Bulletin – the ‘bible’ for the exhibition industry, published since 1948. The Exhibition Bulletin is a valuable research tool and contains comprehensive information on exhibitions worldwide as well as in depth studies on the exhibition industry.
Mash Media launched its first international title in October 2003 with Exhibition World, which is published in conjunction with UFI, the global association for the exhibition industry. Written for top exhibition organisers, venues and services contractors worldwide, Exhibition World takes a close look at the issues affecting those companies working in the industry around the globe.
With this closely being followed by its second international title, Conference and Meetings World, Mash Media, for the first time, offered the global market a truly international reach.
In July 2006, the launch of www.expoabc.com added an online product to compliment the existing comprehensive portfolio of publications. This dedicated website is totally devoted to the exhibition and event industry, offering breaking news, key features, analysis of latest trends, exciting career opportunities and a search facility for critical industry information such as exhibitions, organisers, venues and suppliers.
Today Mash Media Group Ltd continues to meet the demands of the exhibition, conference and event market in the UK and internationally. Through its unrivalled portfolio of respected and quality publications and online products, it continues to seek new ways of serving the industry.
